LOS PRIMOS TAQUERIA Y RESTURANTE - Vicente Cid, Owner (Mexico)-WAMM successfully mediated the sale of Café La Salsa to current owners of Los Primos Taqueria y Restaurante. In addition, WAMM was able to renegotiate the release of the previous owners lease agreement and assist in a fair continuation of the existing terms to the new tenants. Los Primos continues to use WAMM's Services for marketing, taxes, and expansion plan. They are a family operated business who caters daily to one of the area’s largest employer and offers a unique sit-down dining experience.

ALIANCIA DE LATINAS EN ACCION (ALA) - Maria Uvalle, Board Chair (Mexico)-WAMM has provided guidance and assistance to a group of Latina women focused on building capacity and economic empowerment for themselves. The group formally known as the "El Collectivo" under the RAICES project has formally adopted a new identity (ALA) and selected a board of directors. They have successfully gone after funding and are in the process of developing individual business plans. They vision is to successfully implement a business plan for effective use of the WAMM Kitchen. The group has shown there desire to achieve. For example, with the assistance of WAMM the group was able to take the Minnesota Food Manger's Certificate a requirement for use of the WAMM Kitchen.

LA GRAN AMERICA - Marian Sanchez, Owner (Colombia)-The "ONLY" trilingual newspaper in the country! WAMM is very proud of assisting in the launch and ongoing support of La Gran America. Over the last year the newspaper has really gained a good following, not only from the ethnic community but from English reader also that are interested in what's going on with this large segment of our community. In September 2009, WAMM assisted La Gran Arnerica in hosting the first ever Diversity Resource Fair in our area. WAMM considers this media outlet a great asset to our community and continues to offer technical assistance as needed.
